OK this is way out of date but I moved in 2003 to here:

Large Glass Studio 6-30-01
This is the studio that I built after I graduated.
I abandoned it in dec of 2003 after buying a farm in Corning, NY.

My new studio in Providence RI. It's at 166 Valley Street between Atwells and Broadway.

Here's the inside before view, I negotiated a low rent in exchange for taking it as-is, Very dirty.

I have 4000 square feet, it's about 35' wide by 115' long. 16' ceilings, 3 large roof fans,
lots of gas, electric, and water hookups and a floor drain trough that runs down both sides
of the building. I need to demo some grungy office partitions at both ends of the space.
There are also many large windows that have been boarded over on the inside, go figure?

14,000 #'s of wood and rubbish later...( that's right over 7 tons of crap
ripped out and hauled away.

This is what it looked like before 5 days of pressure washing.
It looked worse after being washed, very depressing until I started spraying the paint

Nighttime after building the basic hotshop area.

The middle of spraying 75 gallons of paint.

The painting and demolition made the place much more workable and though it
set me back 3 weeks I'm glad I didn't put it off.
I now live and work Here
